Möhel’s historical identity belongs to the world of Spanish bags and leather accessories. This page brings together dated reporting about the original brand and provides a guide to the individual designs documented in the archive.
Madrid beginnings in the published record
Vogue España’s report of 14 January 2019 identifies Mónica and Elena Díaz as the people behind Möhel and dates the brand’s creation to Madrid in 2016. Their account describes starting with a small collection presented to family and close friends. The report places the bags’ handmade production in a workshop in Ubrique.
Talentiam’s article of 14 April 2021 also gives Madrid and 2016 as the brand’s starting point and names Ubrique as its manufacturing location. Its brand introduction links directly to the former Möhel about page at this address.
Bags, workmanship and the scope of the evidence
Vogue’s selection included a red, bucket-shaped Mimi bag. That example helps place bags at the centre of the brand’s recorded identity. It is a separate design reference: its description should not be used to fill gaps in the specifications of a Mini Monique bag or a belt.
The sources discuss craft and, in Talentiam’s case, sustainability. Such reporting preserves how the brand was presented at the time. It is not a current factory audit, product certification or test of every item sold under the name. Material and manufacturing claims still need to be checked against the evidence for each particular design.

The following records connect specific former product links with their surviving sources. Each explains what can be identified and which details remain unknown.
- Mini Monique Alessia — a bag identified through the former link in a 2018 press selection, with notes on the accompanying image.
- Coco Belt — a source-based record of the black belt described in coverage of the March 2021 visit to Andorra.
- Granatta Belt — the burgundy belt recorded in February 2022 coverage, bringing together two former product routes.
About this historical page
This is a newly written editorial record at the brand’s former about-page address. The original page has not been recovered in full. References to the founders, workshop and earlier retail activity concern the historical brand; they do not describe the present publisher’s team, facilities or services.
The current Mohel Store publishes historical records and editorial material about leather goods and accessories. An old brand name, address or shopping link does not establish current stock, a continuing retail operation or an offer from the original maker.
