Möhel Shopping Flecos Granatte: Historical Bag and Source Notes

Shopping Flecos Granatte appears in a September 2021 Möhel collection gallery, which links to the historical product address retained here. This note records the named design, its photographed fringe and the limits of that surviving reference.

A named entry in the autumn collection

Beatriz Rodríguez-Gimeno’s StyleLovely gallery lists Shopping Flecos Granatte as the tenth item. The article’s publication metadata gives 22 September 2021. Its caption describes a garnet-coloured leather bag with front fringe and characterises the leather as soft. That description belongs to the source; no sample was handled for this archive.

Fringe, bands and buckles in the photograph

The photograph shows a broad burgundy-toned body, with long strips of fringe arranged across the front. Two upright bands meet gold-coloured buckles near the upper edge, and a handle rises above the opening. Lighting and screen rendering limit any exact colour comparison.

The image records an exterior arrangement. It does not establish the buckle metal, the leather’s animal source or tannage, or the construction beneath the fringe. A textured appearance alone is insufficient to identify a leather finish.

Keep carrying measurements separate

Visible buckles do not provide a measured handle drop or an adjustment range. Before assessing a surviving example for shoulder carry, record the actual configuration and measurement endpoints. The handle-drop and strap-length guide explains why those dimensions should be labelled separately.

Likewise, the shopping-bag name supplies no capacity or load rating. See bag dimensions and usable space for the distinction between exterior size, the opening and the room available inside.

Scope of the historical record

Lining, closure, measured dimensions, supplied accessories and current availability remain unverified. This is a source-based archive entry, not a reconstruction of the complete former listing or a current sales offer. The spelling Granatte follows this bag’s source heading and product address; it is distinct from the Granatta belt.
